Book review.

Me before you by JoJo Moyes

Me before you is a love story, all be it a sad one. Louisa Clarke works in a coffee shop, she loves her job, she loves her long term boyfriend but at the age of 27 she has never looked further than the local castle. Until she finds herself unemployed, thus sparking a range of events that will lead her to Will Traynor's door. Will is a quadriplegic, he is severely depressed, stubborn and arrogant. He lived life in the fast lane, woman, motorbikes, high paying job and extreme sports. Louisa and Will begin a journey of self discovery it will change them both forever, but will it be enough?

Jo Jo Moyes takes her readers on a roller coaster ride of emotions, you will laugh and cry- sometimes even both on the same page. Its a beautifully written novel, but not a struggle to dive into, you wont be leaving it on your dresser collecting dust. Louisa is a loveable character warm, funny and awkward you will see your own insecurities in her. Will on the other hand is the strong, silent man every woman needs in their life. You are weaved closer into their lives your compassion growing, your emotions and opinions fuelling your hunger to read on. I defy anyone to read this book and say they felt nothing. This novel will influence you and leave its mark in some shape or form.

I recommend this book to anyone, especially a book club. It sparks debate and will keep you all talking for hours. Different people will like different characters- for different reasons. Put your feet up, grab a box of tissues and enjoy.
